Safe Deposit Boxes

Whether you need to store precious items or important papers, Franklin State Bank can help protect your valuables. Franklin State Bank safe deposit boxes are available for all your important items, big or small. Your valuables are stored in a safe and secure environment at the bank. Our safe deposit boxes vary in size with rentals starting as low as $15.00 per year. Not all sizes are available at all times. Please contact us for more information.

Night Deposit Box

Use our night deposit box to keep your money secure and for your own peace of mind. The night deposit is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is conveniently located at the entrance of our drive-thru lane and is available for every Franklin State Bank customer.

Wire Transfers

Transfer money out of town or across the country electronically. Your money can be safely sent to another city by wiring it from Franklin State Bank. If you need to get the money there quickly and easily, wire it. Wire transfers are subject to certain fees and conditions. Please contact one of our officers to initiate a wire transfer.

Purchasing EE and I Bonds

Effective December 31, 2011, banks are no longer able to sell EE and I bonds over the counter to our customers. To purchase the bonds you will need to go to: www.treasurydirect.gov. First you will be prompted to set up an account. Once that is completed, you can purchase your bonds.

Online Banking Questions

How do I sign up for online Banking?
To sign up for Online Banking, simply visit Franklin State Bank's website at www.franklinstatebank.net and click on the Online Banking link. Once you are on the Online Banking page, click the "First Time User" button. After reviewing the Online Internet Banking Disclosures located under Disclosures, click the "I Agree" button. This will take you to the First Time Login screen. Fill in the required information and then click "Submit." Then complete the security information. You will then be asked if you would like to receive your statements electronically. After you finish with that screen your first time login process is complete.

Who will be able to see or access my accounts?
Only the signers of an account, using their own unique Access ID and password can view or access the accounts. In addition, to insure our customers have the highest level of security available, we require the use of a "strong encryption" (128-bit) browser.

What if I forget my password or it doesn't work?
If your password does not allow you access to your accounts, please contact the bank at 308-425-6225 Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00.

Is there a fee for online banking?
No. There is no additional fee to access your accounts through Online Banking. You can view transactions, make transfers, or make loan payments free of charge.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a piece of securely-coded information sent by Franklin State Bank to your computer when you enroll in online banking. Cookies include a randomly generated, unique number used as a sign in or registration identifier. Every time you log in from that same computer, your Web browser then sends us back this cookie, which is a security feature that lets us know that you're using your own computer.

I share my computer with someone who also uses Online Banking. Can both of us sign in from this computer?
Yes. You can both use the same computer to sign in to your individual Online Banking account safely; you won't see each other's information. There's no limit to how many people can sign in to Online Banking at Franklin State Bank from the same computer. Just remember not to share your Access ID, Password or answers to your challenge questions.

What type of browser is necessary to access online banking?
To insure the highest security, a browser using 128-bit encryption is required.
